The actual shares we delivered to members, as best reconstructed from available records, are described below. We have a record of all our share items, all the way from our first CSA year!! How cool is that!

Week 7 Share items for July 7th pick up FRUIT SHARE: NYS apricots and “white” cherries Cheese share:
(July) 1 Fines Herbes Goat Logs AND  1 piece Lambington AND
Sweet Corn! 1 piece Perlitta: Raw Jersey cow milk. Aged for 24 months in a 4-5 lb wheel. Deep caramel tones and aroma that can only be reached after two years in the cave.

Week 9 SHARE LIST for August 9th pick up FRUIT: apricots and organic Melons Cheese Share: From Valley Shepherd Creamery in NJ: Halloumi – a delicious, high-protein cheese that can be sliced and GRILLED (or even fried), AND Gotogetagoat (Goat Gouda aged 3 months) AND 1 Califon, Raw milk , creamy pate resembling the gouda or Edam texture

Ancho/Poblano peppers (low-medium heat, these are great cored (de-seeded) then fried/roasted/steamed, then you can put some cheddar or other cheese inside and fry or microwave for a delicious chile relleno)

Week 19 Share items for Oct 19th pickup Fruit share:  Yali Pears AND Plums AND apples Cheese share: Consider Bardwell Farm (www.considerbardwellfarm.com) PAWLET
(Oct) raw cow’s milk, semi-firm, aged 3-5 months, microbial rennet, Pawlet is a cheese unlike any other.  Mild, sweet, and grassy.  Wildly expressive of the season’s milk while staying true to who it is.  Our most widely-available cheese and a crowd favorite.  Try Pawlet with: Whole grain mustard, toast, and a wheat beer.
Sweet Potatoes DORSET: raw cow’s milk, washed rind, aged 60 days, microbial rennet, A soft ripening cheese with a rich, buttery texture and seasonally influenced pungency. An elegant appetizer or dessert, often served here in the historic village of Dorset, VT. Try Dorset with: Honey, apples, and a bubbly wine.

Week 21 October 21st pickup Fruit share: Apples – it will be apples from now till the end of the season, that’s what’s in season! Bake some delicious apple crisps, that’s what we did… CHEESE SHARE: Goodale Farms (a neighbor of ours) cheddar and feta. Love their feta!
(Nov) Vegetable share:
