The HORSE BARN at Garden of Eve

We currently offer the following services:

Full Board $600 per month, includes hay but not grain. 24/7 turnout with access to stalls. Ideal for horses on layup or retirement. Email us to set up a time to see the facility or discuss, farmer [at] Gardenofevefarm.com 

HIRELINGS FOR FOXHUNTS (scent hunting; no animals are harmed!): We currently offer seasoned, safe horses (large and small) for hunting on Wednesdays and Sundays with The Smithtown Hunt. Our season is Sept-March.

If you don’t have a a horse, or don’t think your horse is suitable for the woods, contact us! Fee includes trailering to the Meet and any tack that you need. We can even help with attire for no additional cost so don’t worry!

Hirelings may also be offered for hunts in Aiken, SC during February. 

All equestrian activities are overseen by owner Eve Kaplan-Walbrecht. Eve has been riding for 30+ years and has taken several horses she trained up through the levels of eventing and dressage. She is an active competitor in 3-day eventing at the Modified level. She has foxhunted all across the USA as well as Ireland and England and has her colors with The Smithtown Hunt.
