Our New Member Handbook is a great resource for all your questions as well as the Member Agreement— but some of the most common questions are answered below:
What can I do in my Farmigo portal?
In your Farmigo Portal, you can:
- Order add-ons from the “STORE” like extra vegetables, salsas, jams, and pickles the week of the share, till Tuesday night at midnight.
- Pay any balance due using the “make a payment” function
- Place a “Delivery Hold” if you need to skip a pick up due to vacation, work or whatever
- Set your “Make-up Date” of when you want to get that share, that you put on hold – it can be a date you don’t normally pick up, or it can be double on a regular pick up date
- Check your “next distribution date”
Can I have a friend pick up my csa?
Yes! No prior notice is required, they can just check in under your name. We operate via the honor system because we trust our members to follow the Member Agreement.
What happens if I don’t pick up?
Your share is donated to a food pantry or people in need.
How do I place a Delivery Hold?
Once you’ve logged in to your Farmigo Portal, select the “Delivery Hold” tab and enter either a single day or a date range that includes multiple dates that you would like to be on hold. Then, simply save your changes. There is no limit on the number of delivery holds you can place in a season.
How do I reschedule my replacement CSA?
After you place a delivery hold, you should see a drop-down menu from which you can select a date for your make-up delivery. If you are a weekly CSA member, the date you choose will be one of your regularly scheduled pick ups and you will receive a double share on that delivery. If you are a bi-weekly CSA member, you may get a share delivered on one of your off-weeks or choose to get a double share on one of your delivery dates. To confirm the date of your next delivery, check the “Next Distribution Date” in the green Summary box in your account.
Does my rescheduled CSA roll over?
No— rescheduled deliveries for any given season must be used before the final share of the season. No refunds will be issued for unused CSA credits and unused make-up dates cannot be used as credit towards future seasons.
Can I join the CSA after it starts?
Yes, you can join at any time during the season. The share price will be prorated to match the number of weeks left in that CSA season.
