WHAT WILL I GET EACH PICK UP IN A TYPICAL SHARE?
The CHEESE/DAIRY share will contain a rotating selection of seasonally available cheeses and milk products from North Fork Dairies, as well as some natural grassfed dairies in upstate NY.
NO PRODUCT IN THIS SHARE WILL Be made from milk that contains HORMONES, ANTIBIOTICS or other non-natural substances.
Most of the dairy items in the share will most likely NOT be certified organic, which requires that the dairy animals (i.e. cows, goats or sheep) are fed 100% certified organic grains from birth. Certified organic grain is currently hard to come by and very expensive, so many NYS dairies are natural but not organic. However we will strive to include certified organic items whenever possible.
It will include a rotating variety of the following, among other surprises:
- goat chevre
- cows milk cheeses
- aged raw milk cheeses
- yogurt
- sheep cheese

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The Cheese/Dairy share is $200 for the full season of 12 pick-ups, which works out to $16.67 per pickup.
Our goal is to supply you with good value and great quality. The quantity of cheese will vary depending on the type of product and its monetary value.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
CSA is like a subscription, or a vegetable-of-the-week club. You pay in full for your share before the distributions begin in early June, and in return for your commitment to our farm we provide you with just-picked organic produce at a good value, as well as farm trips, news, recipes, and a community of like-minded people to get to know!
