WHAT WILL I GET EACH PICK UP IN A TYPICAL SHARE?
Receive a unique, freshly baked organic loaf biweekly with your CSA share! The BREAD share option (must also subscribe to a vegetable share as well) will contain one large loaf of whole wheat bread each week! (same kind each week).
The Share will rotate through four kinds of breads which are all delicious, organic, probiotic and crusty. Oat Bread, Sourdough, Farm Loaf, and Beer Bread.
Made by Carissa’s Bread in Amagansett, NY, our bread contains flour made from our very own wheat, grown organically (like everything else) right here at Garden of Eve!
The baker fresh-mills our wheat and combines it with organic bread flour, salt, yeast, and a natural starter that was developed in Amagansett in 1968.
The loaf weighs two pounds before being baked. If it’s not eaten within a few days, we suggest wrapping tightly in plastic and freezing. To reheat, simply place the unwrapped, frozen loaf in a 400F oven for a few minutes.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The BREAD share is biweekly only (on A weeks, i.e. the same week that the cheese and meat shares are delivered) $78 for a full season of 12 biweekly pick ups ($6.50 per loaf). This bread retails for $10 a loaf in the Hamptons!

HOW DOES IT WORK?
CSA is like a subscription, or a vegetable-of-the-week club. You pay in full for your share before the distributions begin in early June, and in return for your commitment to our farm we provide you with just-picked organic produce at a good value, as well as farm trips, news, recipes, and a community of like-minded people to get to know!
