A fun, friendly, and informal gathering of hand spinners

Knitters, crocheters, and other fiber enthusiasts also welcome.

Second and fourth Wednesday evenings monthly, 5 - 7 pm.

Farm and Nature Exploration Experience!

      

 Exciting, enriching week-long summer programs for children ages 3-8.

Garden of Eve Organic Farm is proud to introduce its first annual week-long summer Farm and Nature Exploration Experience for kids!

SPROUTS: Ages 3-5: July 28-August 1, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm

SEEDLINGS: Ages 5-8: August 4-8, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm

Kids will enjoy the small group size, with no more than 6 kids!

Age-appropriate activities your child is likely to enjoy are:

• Our favorite: picking and eating farm-fresh fruits and veggies!
• Collecting eggs and caring for farm animals including goats, sheep, chickens and turkeys
• Exploring nature on the farm
• Planting seeds and learning how things grow
• Cooking some basic dishes with farm produce
• Working with wool from our own sheep and natural dyes found around the farm

Sample Schedule:
9:20-9:45 Drop-Off, Play at farmstand
9:45-10:00 Greet and Feed Animals, Song
10:00-10:30 Introducing Theme/Idea of Day/week through stories,
song, discussion, observation
10:30-10:50: Prepare/Pick Snack
10:50-12:30 Activities and sharing! Kids will most times be on the go
around the farm, and snack will be enjoyed picnic-style!

Prices:
· CSA Members: $180/week or $40/day
· Non-members: $200/week or $45/day
*Price includes farm-fresh snacks each day! Lunch is NOT provided.
